We desperately need your help.Take a look at SUMMERWORKS 2000!For 35 years, the federally funded ABCD SummerWorks program has provided summer jobs to young people who assist hundreds of community-based organizations throughout the neighborhoods of Boston.SummerWorks provides enrollees with a variety of educational and skills/building workshops that focus on higher education; health issues; self esteem; money management; time management; responsibility; and more.Enrollees work 25 hours per week, earn an hourly wage and with participating Boston Public Schools, obtain course credit towards graduation.Along with neighborhood organizations, downtown non-profit and government agencies, ABCD works closely with the City of Boston and Boston Private Industry Council to further expand job opportunities for Boston’s youth.Want to know more?
